For all my readers with kids – this post is for you! Can you believe summer time is already coming to an end and the school year is about to begin? I guess it’s true what they say – time flies when you’re having fun!

Like many of you, I am currently prepping for our upcoming school days. In addition to back to school shopping, I like to start the school year by showing my love and appreciation for our amazing teachers. Many people do not realize that a large number of teachers cut their summer short in order to prep their classrooms and lesson plans for our kids. It is for this very reason that I like to kick the school year off with a Back to School Teacher Appreciation Gift.

Back to school teacher appreciation gifts are an easy and fun way to show your child’s teacher that they are appreciated. There are so many different ways to welcome teachers back for the school year that are inexpensive and fun! If you love DIY you can find hundreds of great ideas on Pinterest. If you love to bake, I’m sure your child’s teacher would love a sweet treat! If you are unsure of what your child’s teacher may enjoy, you can always gift them with something practical they can use in the classroom.

This year I decided to create a basket full of fall goodies for my daughter’s teacher. The gift basket was inexpensive and easy to make. Take a peak below at what my youngest and I created together!

My daughter and I took a trip to Target and found some great items in the Target Dollar Spot! We filled our basket with a soft, cozy blanket, a fall scented candle, mini tier tray signs, and a Starbucks gift card – all perfect items for fall!
