Galentine’s Day Cocktails

Carrie Bradshaw said it best when she wrote, “They say nothing lasts forever; dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style.”

Personally, my gal friends are some of the most important people to me. It is without a doubt that each and every one them holds a very special place in my heart. They are my army of badass women. They are my tribe. So what better way to celebrate some of my favorite people than to dedicate an entire day to their awesomeness. Insert –Galentine’s Day!

One of the best things about Galentine’s Day is that it was created by Leslie Knope – a fictional character from Parks and Recreation. The idea was first introduced in a 2010 episode called “Galentine’s Day,” where Knope brings together a group of her closest friends for brunch. During the episode, Knope explains that she spends every February 13th with her best lady friends celebrating their awesomeness! From that day, Galentine’s Day was born and has been gaining popularity and becoming one of the best fictional holidays to celebrate! At least in my opinion!

So grab your tribe and start planning the perfect Galentine’s Day with the ideas below! It’s like Carrie said, “Every once in awhile, a girl has to indulge herself!”
