Ingredients

  • Molasses
  • Flour
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Water
  • Food Coloring
  • Sprinkles


Instructions

Step 1: Mix 2 cups of flour with 3/4 cup of molasses in bowl to create dough.

Step 2: Once you have created the dough, use a rolling pin to flatten out for cutting.

Step 3: Use cookie cutters to create desired shapes.

Step 4: Place cookies on greased cooking sheet and bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 5: Allow cookies to cool while creating icing.

Step 6: Create icing by mixing 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of warm water.

Step 7: Add food coloring to icing mix to create desired color.

Step 8: Add icing to cookies with sprinkles and allow icing to cool and harden.
