Spiked Lime Lemonade

Easy Spiked Lime Lemonade is the perfect cocktail to add to any hot summer day. This homemade recipe will not disappoint, I promise! All you need is a few key ingredients and your favorite vodka and your quickly on your way to enjoying a refreshing beverage.

Follow my step-by-step recipe below!

Ingredients

  • 6 Cups of Water
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
  • 1 Cup Vodka
  • 4 Large Lemons
  • 4 Large Limes
  • Mint for Garnish
  • Lemon for Garnish
  • Lime for Garnish

Directions

Step 1: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add 1 1/2 cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of lemon zest and 1 tablespoon of lime zest. Whisk until sugar has dissolved for a total of 5 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat and allow to cool.

Step 2: Juice the lemons and limes. Be sure to use a strainer when pouring juice into pitcher to remove excess pulp and seeds.

Step 3: It’s time to mix! Add 1 cup of vodka (I prefer Tito’s), 1/2 cup of lime juice, 1/2 cup of lemon juice, 1 cup of lemon/lime syrup and 2 cups of water together in a pitcher. Mix well. Depending on preferred sweetness, you may need add less or more of liquor, syrup or juice to achieve desired taste. Continue this process for desired serving size.

Step 4: Once mixed, allow to chill for 1-2 hours.

Step 5: Pour Spiked Lime Lemonade into glass over ice. Add a sprig of mint with lemon and lime wheel to garnish.

Step 6: Enjoy!
